There were 24 players at social bowls on Thursday afternoon, with four games of triples played.

Rink 3 saw Terry Feakes, Les Hoey and Phil Marsden narrowly beat Maureen Marsden, Judy Elton and Trevor Elton.

‍

On Rink 4, Glenys Jones, Margaret Linton and Hugh Montgomery won another close game against Dino Poli, Ron Smith and Gary Nosworthy.

On Rink 5, Chris Holden, Robb Darr and Woody defeated Janet Arthur, Meryl Smith and Bruce McCallum.

‍

Rink 6 saw Paul Vass, Katerina and Mick McClosky record a big win over Betty Webb, Steve Doig and Joe Linton.

Gary Nosworthy is celebrating his 79th birthday on Saturday, so it was fitting that he won the raffle, taking home a bottle of Dimple Scotch whisky. Second prize, a bottle of wine, went to Chris Holden.
