Ayr Surf Lifesaving Club volunteers will return to the beach this weekend, with the official patrolling season beginning on Saturday 19th of September.
With a long, hot summer predicted, lifesavers across Queensland are preparing for another busy season.
The club is reminding swimmers to use patrolled beaches, swim between the flags and speak to a surf lifesaver if they are uncertain about conditions.
Ayr Surf Lifesaving Club has also partnered with First in Physio to recognise the efforts of its patrolling members, with the new ‘First in Physio Patrol Member of the Month’ award to recognise one hard-working member each month.
The club thanked Pat and the First in Physio team for their generous sponsorship of the award.
