MIXED TOUCH CARNIVAL SET FOR AYR

Touch footballers will descend on Ayr later this month for the Burdekin Mixed Touch Football Carnival 2026.

The carnival will be held at the Ayr Touch fields on Saturday, August 29, with three divisions on offer — Mixed Open, Mixed Seniors (O35) and Mixed Under 16.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division, with the day also featuring sprints, relays and the popular shootout competition.

Competition will begin at 9.30am, with finals scheduled for 4pm.

Team nominations cost $30, while player nominations are $20. Nominations close on August 22 and can be made by emailing burdekintouch4807@gmail.com or texting 0437 710 500.
