BMX Takes Over The Burdekin

Clubs from around Queensland travelled to Burdekin BMX Club over the weekend for the Burdekin Open. The same event five years ago had seven competitors which grew to a massive 48 last weekend.200 riders travelled from Atherton, Cairns, Dysart, Mackay and districts, Maryborough, Moranbah, Proserpine, Rockhampton, Sarina, and Townsville, enjoying what the region has to offer throughout the weekend.33 out of 36 riders aged over 8 years came away with personal bests.
