On 14 June 2024 a motor vehicle was stolen form an address on Turnbull Road, Home Hill. The offenders then committed numerous other offences between Home Hill and Ayr. Home Hill Police later dealt with a 17-year-old juvenile for seven offences, including Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle and Evading Police under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
