ZABALA AND FERGUSON DOMINATE NORTHERN ZONE CARNIVAL

The Burdekin Clay Target Club hosted a high-caliber weekend of shooting for the Northern Zone Continental Carnival on August 8–9, drawing 55 competitors to the local traps.

‍

Michael Zabala and Colin Ferguson delivered standout performances across the two-day event. Zabala claimed the top honours as Overall Carnival High Gun with a score of 243/255, while also securing Open titles in both the Medley and Combination championships. Ferguson took out the Open division in the Pointscore and Single Barrel events, as well as the A Grade High Gun title.

The club congratulates all event winners and thanks everyone who traveled to compete. Special thanks go to Lui Populin for donating the meat trays for the raffle.

The club's next shoot will take place on Sunday 13^th September.
