More Choice For Every Room At McCathies

‍

For more than 50 years, McCathies Furniture Plus has been helping Burdekin families turn their houses into homes, and with the release of their latest catalogue, there's plenty of inspiration for every room.

‍

The family-owned business has been part of the Burdekin community since 1974, growing and changing over the years while remaining committed to the friendly, personal service that locals have come to know.

Owners Kari and Rob Ravizza, and Lyndy and John McCathie understand that furniture is more than just something to fill a room. It's where families come together, where memories are made and where everyday life happens.

‍

"Your home is your comfort, your space and your style. Everyone's home is different, and we love helping people find furniture that suits their needs, their lifestyle and the way they live.” Kari said.

‍

“Whether it's furnishing a whole house or finding that one special piece, we want our customers to feel comfortable asking questions, exploring their options and love nothing more than helping them to make the right choice."

‍

Their latest catalogue, Our Story, Our Home, is packed with fantastic, discounted prices across a wide range of furniture, including comfortable recliner lounges, stylish dining suites, bedroom furniture, occasional pieces and practical storage solutions.

But the catalogue is only a small part of what's available at McCathies.

‍

"We have so much more in store than what's featured in the catalogue. We encourage people to come in, have a look around and see what's available. Sometimes you don't really know what you're looking for until you see it," Kari said.

‍

One of the things that sets McCathies Furniture Plus apart is its extensive range of furniture available to take home straight away.

"If you see it in store, it's in stock and available to purchase straight away. There's no waiting weeks for your furniture to arrive. And if we don't have exactly what you're looking for, we'll do our very best to find it for you," Kari said.

‍

"We want to make buying furniture as easy as possible. Sometimes people know exactly what they're after, and other times they need a little help working out what will suit their home. That's what we're here for, and we're always happy to help."

‍

The team also offers delivery, assembly and removal of old furniture, helping to make the whole process that little bit easier.

McCathies understands that customers like to shop around and compare their options. That's why they're also happy to look at competitors' written quotes to see if they can match the price.

‍

"We know people like to shop around, and we completely understand that. If you've received a written quote elsewhere, bring it in and we'll see what we can do. We'd love the opportunity to help you shop locally," Kari said.

‍

To make larger purchases easier to manage, McCathies also offers humm finance and convenient in-store layby on all full-priced items, giving customers more flexibility when planning their purchases.

‍

As a third-generation family business, McCathies Furniture Plus is proud of its long history in the Burdekin and the relationships built with customers over the years.

"One of the nicest parts of being in business in a small community is getting to know our customers. We have families who have shopped with McCathies for generations, and it's lovely to see them coming back as their families and homes change over the years," Kari said.

‍

Whether you're looking to update a room, replace a well-loved piece of furniture or simply gather a few ideas, the team welcomes you to pop in, browse the latest catalogue and see what else is available.
