Mount Inkerman will once again test the legs of runners and walkers when the King and Queen of the Hill returns on Saturday 24th October.

‍

Part of the Home Hill Harvest Festival calendar, the annual event will get underway at 6am, with participants racing from the base of the mountain to the lookout before making the return journey.

Competitors will be split into multiple age categories, with cash prizes up for grabs for those who can conquer the course fastest.

‍

Last year’s event saw a strong early-morning turnout, with Aaron Bathis setting the fastest time overall at 14 minutes and 46 seconds, while Jennifer Fotinos was the fastest female in 20 minutes and 58 seconds.

This year’s event will run until 8am, with a coffee van and food available for competitors and spectators.

‍

Registrations can be completed on the day at Mount Inkerman.
