‍

Burdekin Junior Rugby League celebrated the end of another successful season with our Under 13 to Under 16 Presentation Night at the Burdekin Theatre.

The night brought together players, families, coaches and volunteers to celebrate the 2026 season and recognise the achievements of our older junior teams.

‍

The Helen Viero Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Kurt Olsen, an exceptional helper and valued volunteer who is always willing to lend a hand around the club.

‍

Awards were presented across each age group, recognising the efforts and achievements of our players throughout the season.

‍

The Under 15s were named Team of the Year after a fantastic season which saw them finish the year as Tier 2 Premiers.

‍

BJRL would like to congratulate all of our award recipients and thank our coaches, managers, trainers, volunteers, sponsors and families for their support throughout the season.

‍

It was a great night to celebrate our older juniors and wrap up another year of junior rugby league in the Burdekin.
